The Head Kore 93 Skis with Bindings is a great combination for skiers looking for all-mountain versatility if they had to buy just one set up to cover it all. Construction starts with a Karuba and Poplar wood core which is where its snappy and responsive flex comes from. On top of the core are layers of Carbon Fiber, Graphene and Head’s Damping Layer which has effectively replaced the layer of Koroyd seen in previous models. A bit of camber underfoot really helps this ski carve on firm snow. The rocker and taper in the tips and tails also add great maneuverability to this ski, making it super easy to handle in choppy or bumpy terrain as well as tight situations. At 93-millimeters underfoot it is perfectly versatile for day-to-day conditions seen at the resort. From groomers, to hardpack, bumps, trees and steeps the Kore 93 simply has no weakness. Throw in a fresh coat of white too while you’re at as it’s a capable floater as well with the exception of deep snow. With all this performance you would expect this ski to be heavy, but it’s actually one of the lightest skis in its respective mid-90’s category. You get great swing weight which keeps your legs fresher so you can ski longer while piling up your vertical stats. Advanced and Expert skiers will glean at the around performance of the Head Kore 93 Skis with Bindings.
